Persuasion

Persuasion is what I learned today.
I was trying to persuade my parents since last week for allowing me to move out during May when my University is shifting to Sungai Long.

Anyway how , before I talk to my parents about me shifting out, I asked for my sister opinion and also hoping that they will be supporting my ideas and stand by my side. So both of my sister agreed to support my idea about me moving out.

So there is these few ways my sisters teach me to persuade my parents.
1. Never push too hard - I must know how to control my persuasion, always remember not to be so aggressive, because it may caused to direct rejection from them. Especially when my parents hate to be in the forcing situation.

2. Provide them a win-win situation -  If I want to shift out, I need to tell my parents what are the benefits they get, for example I will cause them less trouble by sending or fetching me to class and also I will able to save the petrol and toll money if I drive. Therefore, the better way is to shift nearby to my University.

3. Be confidence - My sister told me is important that when I speak to them, I must sound confidence and firm with what I want, so that they will be sure I am confidence with my choice, and then they will be confidence in me.

So by using all thee method of persuasion, I considered this persuasion successful because they didn't reject me immediately, however they said they will be considering my suggestion wisely.

I was thinking the other side that even now persuading my parents need to have a plan and ways, when in the future, I need to persuade is customers and my boss, will be able to even do it? And it feels like i am having my practise now already, preparing myself for future, training to be a good persuader.
