The colours of life . : Tattoos

Tattoo.

I did my first tattoo when I was 19 years old, my sister is the first one in the family that tried going against my parents, and did her first tattoo before even asking approval from them. She gave me the gut to have my first tattoo. On my 19th birthday, she gave me a present, which is paying my first tattoo for me.

People that had tattoo will say that tattoo is addictive, and I must agree with that because currently I already had 4 tattoos. The feeling of getting the tattoo is pain, but is a good feeling of pain. I like the excitement I get while in the process of having tattoo. All of my tattoo represents different meaning.

The first tattoo of mine, is an infinity sign with wordings of "love life". I did a lot thinking before having my first tattoo as I didn't want to regret it. So after half year later, I did my 2nd tattoo which is on my arm, with a wording of "strength". Many people asked me the meaning of strength. I think the tattoo of strength is to remind me to always have strength in my life to be independent and have the strength to go through all the hardships, problems in life. A year later, I did my 3rd tattoo, which is a symbol that represents three elements, which is wisdom, luck and love. Lastly, I did my 4th tattoo after I broke up this week , when many people disagree the most. I did flying dandelion which represent happiness and freedom.

So, yesterday I am thinking of having another tattoo again and I was thinking of doing a wording "family" on my shoulder. Why family? Why on my shoulder? I thought of doing family on my shoulder is because I am a family-oriented person, family comes first in everything, family represents everything, is who I am now, and I choose to do it on my shoulder is because I hope one day I am capable enough to carry the responsible of taking care my family, able to helped out my family in every way I can. This will also be the motivation for me to study hard and worked as hard as I can in the future in order to achieve that.

Appreciate and love your family as they are all we have now and in the future.

When it comes to tattoo, I don't like when people categorise people that have tattoos as a bad girl and they tend to judge. As before I even have any tattoos, I always think people that have tattoo is someone that is fierce, gangster and it somehow left a bad impression. However, my perception changed and I know how not to judge a book by its cover. You don't judge a person by just their outlook, always must get to know that person before you judge. People that smile to you and look nice but they actually have a bad personality once you get to know them, people that look unfriendly may actually is a nice person.
